I want to share the list inspirational books that have helped me navigate the first half of my 20’s. Here are my Top 10 Favorite Motivational books of all time. Add these to your reading list!
I’ve seen checklists for daily tasks that will help you succeed, guides for personal growth, and everything that tells you what habits you should do.
But what about the bad habits that are holding you back? There’s no checklist for all the things I shouldn’t be doing!
I figured out how to be a self-starter when I got to college and realized no one but me cared if I failed or thrived. The motivation to get up, be on time, be my best, had to come from the belief that my success was important. It was a trial and error process – I felt the full weight of the repercussions if I didn’t take responsibility for myself. “Visualize your highest self and start showing up as her” – Unknown I’ve had enough trial and error failures to know that it takes a lot of fine-tuning and self-awareness to set goals and see them through to the end. It’s so easy to get psyched up and motivated about a goal in the beginning, […]

On Mondays, for my positive vibes article, I usually write about the issues that are affecting me at the present moment. That’s […]
I know how hard it is to try and think positively all the time. Some might even say it’s impossible. I’m not saying you should never have a negative thought, but you should at least have power over them and be able to identify when you’re getting into a pattern of negative thinking. This […]
We get to choose (for the most part) who we associate ourselves with. However, there are situations we just can’t avoid and we run into toxic personalities. They are our co-workers, our classmates, our boyfriend’s friends, our neighbors whoever they are, we cannot avoid them so we have to learn to deal with them. When confronted […]
What separates the successful people from the unsuccessful people? It is the ability to stay motivated. Someone who reaches their goals is someone who does what they have to do to achieve their goals even when they don’t want to. Even when they are tired, sick, didn’t get enough sleep, they still work and they […]
“It is a painful thing to look at your own trouble and know that you yourself and no one else has made it.” Sophocles It is so easy to pass the torch of blame onto others. No one wants to feel like they have done something wrong, are at fault, or have failed. These are […]
Let me tell you a story. I wasn’t always as happy and optimistic as I am now. When I was working as a waitress I worked 12-14 hour days. I worked about 60 hours a week with little to show for it. I lived with my boyfriend at the time and our relationship was failing […]
